1Scope and Eligibility
1.1The Platform is available to individuals who are 13 years of age or older, solely for the purpose of creating an account and exploring the Platform.
1.2Certain features of the Platform that involve the collection or processing of additional personal data, integration with third-party services (including, without limitation, your Shopify account), or payment/subscription functionality (“Data-Sensitive Features”) are available only to users who are 18 years of age or older. We may implement checks to verify age before granting access to Data-Sensitive Features.
1.3If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you represent and warrant that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Platform, and that such parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to this Policy and our Terms of Use on your behalf. We reserve the right to request verification of such consent at any time and to suspend or restrict access to any account where such verification is not satisfactorily provided.
1.4We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently done so, we will take reasonable steps to delete such data.
2Information We Collect
2.1Account Information: your name and email address; if you sign up or log in using Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile information from that provider (such as your name, email address, and profile identifier) as permitted by your settings with that provider.
2.2Verification Information: a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email address to verify your identity and secure your account.
2.3Consultation/Contact Information: if you use our enquiry page to request custom app-building help or consultation, we collect your name, work email address, company/organisation name and phone number and any other details you choose to provide, in order to respond to you and, where you have consented, for marketing and promotional outreach.
2.4User Creations: the applications, code, designs, configurations, and other content you create, upload, or generate using the Platform, including any Third-Party Data contained within such content. We store and host this content, including any Third-Party Data, solely to provide, operate, and maintain the Service, and as further described in the Introduction above and in our Terms of Use.
2.5Shopify Integration Data: information necessary to facilitate the connection between the Platform and your own Shopify account, where you choose to create or use one to run or test the apps you build. Your Shopify account itself is governed by Shopify’s own privacy policy and terms, which we encourage you to review.
2.6Usage and Device Information: log data, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and similar technical information, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies on our website.
2.7Communications: records of correspondence when you contact our support team.
3How We Use Your Information
We use the information described in Section 2 for the following purposes:
3.1To Provide and Maintain the Service, including account creation and verification (via OTP), enabling the app-building tools, and facilitating your integration with Shopify at your direction.
3.2To Communicate With You, including for administrative purposes such as security, support, and maintenance advisories; to provide services and information you request; to respond to your comments and questions; to contact you regarding issues concerning your use of the Service, including changes to this Policy; and to otherwise provide customer support.
3.3For Customer and Vendor Relationship Management, including to track emails, calls, and other interactions you have had with us as our customer, prospective customer, or vendor.
3.4To Improve, Monitor, Personalise, and Protect Our Services. It is in our legitimate business interests to improve and keep the Service safe for our users. This includes: (a) Analytics and Product Development, measuring and analysing usage trends and preferences to improve the Service and develop new products, services, and features; (b) Personalisation, customising the Service to your preferences; and (c) Aggregation, we may aggregate or anonymise Personal Data into a form that does not identify you, and use the resulting information for statistical analysis, such as to better understand our user base. Where required under applicable law, we will rely on your consent for these purposes or provide you the ability to opt out.
3.5For Marketing and Advertising, subject to any consent requirements under applicable law, including but not limited to sending you marketing materials, alerts about new features or developments, and other promotional materials via email, WhatsApp, and/or SMS, you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe from such communications, as described in Section 10 and Section 11.
3.6For Compliance Purposes, where it is in our legitimate interests, including to enforce our Terms of Use or to enforce or defend our legal rights, or as required by applicable law and regulation or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency, and to comply with our legal obligations and internal policies as permitted by law.
3.7Legal Basis. We process your Personal Data primarily on the basis of your consent, provided when you create an account, submit your details through our consultation page, or otherwise use the Service. Where permitted under applicable law, we may also process Personal Data on the basis of our (and, where relevant, our service providers’ or vendors’) legitimate interests in providing, maintaining, and improving the Service. When relying on legitimate interest as a basis, we ensure you are able to exercise your applicable rights, including any right to object or opt out, as described in Section 10.
4Marketing Communications
4.1By submitting your details through our consultation/contact page, or by creating an account, you consent to receive marketing and promotional communications from us via email, WhatsApp, and/or SMS regarding our services, offers, and updates.
4.2You may withdraw this consent and opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in such communications, or by contacting us at the email address in Section 11, without affecting our ability to send you transactional or service-related communications.
4.3We will take reasonable steps to comply with applicable Indian regulations governing commercial communications, including registration requirements applicable to SMS/WhatsApp outreach, where applicable to us.
5Cookies and Analytics
We and our analytics service providers use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website to recognise your browser, understand usage patterns, and improve the Platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect certain functionality of the website.
6No Cross-Border Data Transfer
We store and process all personal data collected through the Platform exclusively on servers located within India. We do not transfer, store, or otherwise process your personal data outside India. Certain third-party providers we use for authentication (Google, GitHub) and email delivery (OTP) may, as part of their own global infrastructure, process limited data as necessary to provide their respective services in accordance with their own privacy policies; we take reasonable steps to limit such processing to what is strictly necessary for the functionality you use.
8Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active and you continue to use the Service, and thereafter for such period as may be required or permitted under applicable law, including for the resolution of disputes, enforcement of our agreements, and legal or regulatory record-keeping purposes. Upon deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data except where its continued retention is required by applicable law.
9Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made thereunder, you may have the right to: (a) obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing activities undertaken; (b) request correction, completion, or updating of your personal data; (c) request erasure of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations; (d) withdraw consent to processing at any time, which may limit your ability to use certain features of the Platform; (e) opt out of sharing of your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes, as described in Section 3.5; and (f) grievance redressal as set out in Section 11. 12Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform allows you to sign in via, or connect to, third-party services such as but not limiting to, Google, GitHub, and Shopify. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the privacy or data practices of any third-party service.
13Children’s Privacy
This Policy incorporates the eligibility and consent requirements set out in Section 1. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age. Data-Sensitive Features are restricted to users 18 years of age or older, as described in Section 1.2. We do not sell, share, or use the Personal Data of any user under 18 years of age for marketing, advertising, or targeted-advertising purposes, as described in Section 4.
14Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
